1. George, 1769–1821, first editor and printer in Australia, born on St Kitts and Nevis; issued the first book printed in Australia New South Wales General Standing Orders (1802), and the first newspaper, the Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser (1803).
2. his son, Robert, 1795–1829, printer and publisher, born in London; published the first periodical in Australia, the Australian Magazine (1821), and the first hymn book, An Abridgement of the Wesleyan Hymns (1821).
3. George Terry, 1806–63, son of George, printer and publisher; founder of the first Launceston newspaper.
